The new Tiffany’s store

The renovated new Tiffany’s store (aka The Landmark) reopened after extensive renovations in 2023. If you’re visiting during the holidays, do go in and look around. It is not a kid-friendly place, though, and can be tough to navigate in the crowds.

I started on the ground level and then took the elevator to the top, walking down. The elevator is in the back where the arch is, and they have helpful personnel to guide you into the elevator.

The side walls are illuminated on the ground floor making it look like you can see the outside landscape, which in reality is another 5th Avenue building I will not name. It does open up the room and make it seem bigger.

By the elevator you can see the Tiffany Diamond, one of the largest yellow diamonds in the world.

Starting from the top, you can eat in the Jewel Box restaurant, if you can get a reservation. I have not yet tried. But I have heard good things, and it was lovely when I peeked my head in. Check out the housewares and displays.

I opted for the staircase to go down (it does not extend all the way to the first floor). It’s a lovely staircase.

The store has an exhibit on Breakfast at Tiffany’s with an original Truman Capote manuscript, the dress, some videos and photos.

One of the displays near an elevator was of different diamond cuts and shapes.

Look out the windows while you’re there. This crystal snowflake light has hung outside on 5th Avenue since the early 2000s.
