This post is one of two about the 2023 NYC holiday windows. This is the Bergdorf Goodman & Bloomingdale’s edition. Click here for the 2023 NYC Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue window post.
Bergdorf Goodman 2023 NYC holiday windows
The theme of the 2023 Bergdorf Goodman holiday windows is “Isn’t it brilliant?” and you’ll see in the next set of pictures all the brilliant reflections. The window above is “first light” and has two giant roosters and disco balls and a bedazzled llama and other farm animals.
The window above is “in the limelight” and features a music theme with three animal musicians.
The window above is “star power” and features an ice skating theme.
The window above is “light the lights.”
Bergdorf often has my favorite windows of all. These definitely hit the mark, but I think I liked the Saks windows better.
The window above is “the best and the brightest” and the person at the bottom turns on a turnstyle.
The window above, on 58th Street, is “tripping the light fantastic.”
Don’t miss the Bergdorf Goodman windows across the street, for the men’s store. They are less flashy but quite funny and clever. They use the same “isn’t it brilliant” theme in a different way. Hair featured prominently in the Big Foot-esque vignettes.
Look at the details like beer can curlers above.
Look how nicely groomed this Big Foot is now!
On 58th Street, this biker dude with the fuzzy dice has quite the mirror collection.
I didn’t get a great picture of the last window, which had several men, a silver tree and a bunch of squirrels with unnatural white hair. It was funny.
Bloomingdale’s 2023 NYC holiday windows
Bloomingdale’s had a candy and Willy Wonka theme, as the new movie with Timothy Chalamet as Wonka is heading to the theaters soon.
The first window used blown glass from Abby Modell. My favorite was the swizzle stick/rock candy lights.
Chocolate that makes you fly? That is the theme of the next window.
The candy theme continues.
That chocolate fountain is real and working, by the way. I’m curious how often they clean it out and if bugs or dust get into it. That is supposed to be Wonka on the right (above).
