Debbie, So glad you had a blast on your cruise! It is one of those vacations that I will never forget and always cherish. Your details about each part of the cruise were wonderful! I think anyone reading would want to experience it for themselves. Our disembarkation went much better than yours, however, we had to get up very early and had a sit-down breakfast. This was depressing and since we were out late the night before, it was not fun. But, immediately after breakfast, we were one of the people with an early flight, so we were dismissed quickly. Lines went quickly,(I don't really think we ever waited, just continued walking) and we were cleared to get off within a few minutes. Our shuttle to the airport was actually waiting for us as soon as we got outside. I was surprised with how fast we were off the ship, back into reality. We were one of those people who missed our group excursion, because we decided to walk around/go to lunch in Grand Cayman before we went to the beach. It ended well. After inquiring as to where our group was, a Disney staff member arranged for a cab to get us there. This was stressful, because at one point, she told us it may not be possible. And I agree, the chimes were annoying, wondering if we were missing some kind of important announcement. Overall, we are still talking about our Disney Cruise in all good ways. Wonderful memories were made.

My kids were a little bored, so we didn't stay as long as I would have liked. That's the trade off when bringing kids! The 10 commandments were interesting, partly because they were so small. They had a blown-up version showing where they were on the scroll (the scroll contained more than just the commandments). I wouldn't know where they were on the scroll without the translation (though I can read some Hebrew). As for the photos, they were press photos - not mine.

Very good review. I went to the exhibit right before Thanksgiving with a friend and enjoyed it. I am impressed that you brought your children. I figured my son would be bored. I am jealous that you were able to see the 10 commandments. Also, how did you get to take pictures?

Thanks for this. I'm planning a Disney trip and some of your links have been helpful. This one just made me laugh (especially #9), which is just as helpful!

Enjoyed your post! The UN Tour is on my list now, I really think my 12 year old son will love it! I also was reminded to make sure we see Billy Elliot before the show closes at the end of the year! We recently saw Spiderman and our tickets were discounted through TIme Out Kids Deals. It was awesome!

I also wanted to thank you for the mention of my Philadelphia and Gettysburg post :)

I would love to see a deal for either Vanilla Bean Creamery or Simply. Both are great independently owned stores in Cranford, NJ.
