Welcome to Jersey Kids! My name is Debbie Abrams Kaplan, and I’ll be your guide for the journey.
I’m a travel journalist and mom of two elementary school kids. You’ll find my travel tales in magazines like Family Fun, Shape, Continental, Private Clubs, Destination: Vacation, AAA Traveler, Acura Style and Virutoso Life. I started writing family travel after having kids – after all, couples trips to exotic locations are now only possible with babysitting.
Now I bring my kids along, whether they like it or not. Generally they like it more when they get ice cream and souveniers at the end. And they like being featured on the blog.
